I haven't begun the testing and repair yet. Before I work on something, it has to be clean, so clean it is. Here are some pictures that will encourage me to go ahead with the possible repairs. First was the challenge of sorting out cut and added wires. Original is the way I like it.
Here is a picture of the matching E series AK speaker. I don't have the speaker yet, but I will, soon.
The following pictures are of a newly found Atwater Kent Model F-2 speaker from 1929. There's not as much $$ value in this as you might like. Age doesn't always mean $$.
