Caller ID is a number assigned to each P-25 radio. When you transmit, listeners can see your number. When they transmit, you can see theirs. Below, you will see how to create your caller ID and how to display incoming calls.
Setting up Caller ID
Click on "Edit"
Click on "P-25"
In the general tab, enter your unique number in the box for Unit ID (Own)
Factory default number is 0000001 (Do not use default.)
You have now created your unique number for others to see.
In the same window, click
"Group Call Display Type."
Choose Unit ID.
Incoming ID's will now display when a call is received.
