The power control unit has several female AC power receptables for the jukebox lighting and turntable motor. Due to age, these connectors become extremely brittle and crumble. Replacement receptables are available (See Below) but are slightly larger in width than the original rectangular hole. Slight filing is required to enlarge the rectangular hole.
RECPT 2 COND
By clicking on either of the images, you will be directed to Mouser.Com where you can order this receptacle. The P/N is 15AC021 and sells for $1.69.
See the provided PDF below for the technical data sheet.
The receptable can be mounted from either the top, or underneath the chassis surface. Mounting from the top hides the required filing, resulting in a much neater looking job.
Many Princess machines are missing the dust cover from the distribution unit. Most servicemen fount it convenient not to remove the cover each time work was required, thus, it was tossed. You will have extreme difficulty finding a replacement, but sometimes Ebay will surprise you.
KNOW YOUR PLUG POSITIONS
When you unplug appliances inside the machine, know where they came from. Plugging devices into incorrect plugs will give you unfavorable results. When the turntable won't quit turning and the lights go off after a record play, You're in the wrong plugs.
