I can not stress the importance of motor grommets. In time, heat and pressure will cause them to lose their integrity. These grommets serve two major functions. They reduce turntable rumble and align the idler wheel with the proper step on the motor capstan for machines with two speeds. While very simple to install, be sure the cone is pointing up. Grommets are easy to find online and are not expensive. They are available in two colors; black and white. Either are fine. You need three.
